The Bible tells us to ask God for forgiveness when we know that we have done something wrong but also to forgive other people.
At school we encourage children to forgive one another after a fall out or disagreement. Children know that we all make mistakes, adults too, and we can ask God to forgive us.
If children move onto the orange or red on the traffic light behaviour system, they have the opportunity to show that they are sorry and get back to the green light. We start each day on the green light with a fresh start.
"Be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you."
Each half term we celebrate one of our Christian Values and learn what they mean to us and others. Keep your eyes open for this half term's letter and enjoy being part of the celebrations with us. Children are also awarded 'Golden Tickets' if they display our Christian Values in their everyday school life. At the end of each week a winning golden ticket is pulled from the box and a special prize is given. At the end of each half term all golden ticket winners have a chance to take part in exciting, fun activities with Mrs Hill as a reward for being an outstanding member of our school community. Take at look at this half term's winners...
