Parent Questionnaires

We always want to hear your views on our school and so do Ofsted to help them form a judgement.

To help us know what we do well and what we could do better, please click on the banner below and submit your feedback directly to Ofsted. Your answers remain private and confidential and are not shared with us but certainly make a difference in how we grow as a school.

Parent View - Give Ofsted your view on your child's school
You can submit your feedback at any time and do not need to wait until we are undergoing an Ofsted Inspection. We have a computer in school where you can log on to complete the questionnaire and our office staff are happy to help.
Please feel free to download our Parent Questionnaire and submit it to school for feedback. If you would like a paper copy please ask in the school office.

What do Parents Say About Our School?

We pride ourselves on the strong foundations we build with parents and carers and feel they play an important part in learning within school.

As part of our ongoing commitment to provide children with an outstanding school we ask parents to complete a questionnaire when visiting the class teacher at Parent Interviews. Some of our parents said:

"Very good school - highly recommended to any young child starting school; I wish it went up to Year 6!"

"My child is always excited to tell me what they have done!"

"Very happy with the school. My child is really happy here and is making progress in her learning."

"I have noticed very small changes in my son but they are for the better, I am a happy mum!"

"St John's CE (C) Infant School - very nice and very great!"

"I am very pleased with the extra support the school has in place to help children with extra needs."

"I would like to thank the school and teachers for helping my child to progress."

Please let us know what YOU think

we cannot get it right without your help.

We have a number of parents always keen to volunteer or take up placements as part of their own education.

One of our most recent applicants had this to say about our school

"On a more personal level, I feel very comfortable and welcome when participating in activities that require parental involvement.

The atmosphere in school is incredibly warm, caring and friendly and has a community spirit."

If you would like to volunteer in school or take up a placement with us as part of your own education all we ask is that you write a letter, addressed to the Head Teacher, stating why you have chosen our school, what course (if any) your are studying, if you have a DBS check (we can arrange this for you if need be) and the hours/days you would like to come into school.
